Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Flooring Sales Professional / Estimator to join our dynamic team. You’ll play a crucial role in building relationships, accurately estimating project costs, and delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs. Responsibilities

Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong connections with clients, providing tailored flooring solutions that address their unique challenges. With Customer First as your guide, deliver service that exceeds expectations.

Sales & Business Development: Develop and grow a book of business, expanding relationships with new and existing clients. Be proactive and anticipate client needs, always looking for opportunities to add value.

Estimation & Project Management: Conduct site visits across Southwestern Ontario, accurately measure and estimate job requirements, and proactively solve problems to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.

Collaborative Planning: Meet weekly with the management team to share insights, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to a culture of Excellence in all aspects of project execution.

Client Satisfaction: Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction. Uphold Bigelow’s values of Integrity & Honesty throughout every step of the process, building trust through clear communication.

Qualifications

Experience: Experience with construction estimating and B2B sales is an asset, ideally within the flooring or construction industry.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with GSuite, CRM, and ERP systems. The ability to read blueprints and execute quantity takeoffs is also an asset.

Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of carpet, vinyl, tile, resilient, LVT, wood, and other flooring materials, including installation requirements.

Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational skills, and a client-focused attitude.

Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt to challenges and present solutions proactively.

Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

Deliver accurate, competitive estimates that align with both client expectations and company profitability, reflecting Excellence in all calculations.
